So let me explain a little bit about our On-A-Roll creation.
My family founded R-N-R in Sheepshead Bay Brooklyn. I was always in there with my grandfather when I was a little boy. You can say the restaurant business was introduced to me at a very young age. After college, I managed the Brooklyn location in the mid 80’s. I learned a great deal about the concept from cooking, ordering, and day to day operations. There are many facets that go into running a successful restaurant.
Our On-A- Roll concept derives from many years of restaurant experience. I owned and operated pizzeria's, deli's, bagel shops and white tablecloth Italian restaurants.
What we want to make crystal clear to everyone is that we are in no way shape or form affiliated with the Brooklyn location. We do things entirely different , from the way we cook our certified angus only roast beef to baking our fresh Kaiser rolls daily. our burgers come fresh daily from Pat LaFrieda, it does not get any better. All of our frying is done in 100% soy oil, no trans-fat and no cholesterol. Our seafood items are cooked in a totally separate fryer.
Most importantly we would like to thank our customers , we truly appreciate the patronage and the tremendous reviews on social media. Many people are saying we remind them of Brooklyn in the 80’s. Well I guess that is because I was there managing the place at that time and I also have the original family recipes with over 40 years of restaurant experience. It does not get any better folks.
